Monday, Monday

So today was interesting...
Not in the sense that a lot happened, mostly it was damage control for me, but interesting in the way things unfolded.

I work at a vet, and I go in late on Mondays, so I slept in (till 9) and then I lolly gagged until I had to be there at 1. I always get to work a little early especially on pay day so I can go deposit my check.

I get in to find out we have three emergencies that have come in the last hour and a full appointment schedule for the afternoon. Needless to say work was fast paced and hectic. We didn't end up closing until 6:15, when we're supposed to close at 6, and I didn't leave until 6:30ish.

I come home and everyone on the compound has heard the tale from last night, so I had to give details, and funnily enough, Jamier backed me up, and so did everyone else. Then I took the puppy to Auntie Kay and Sienna and Cozy played, then we went over to the Mayor's to run in the back yard.

I saw that Lei was over, so K-Roo, Laney and I went to raid Lei's fridge for food from last night. I asked Cam if he wanted anything and of course he did. We took the puppies and when they got home Cozy passed out in front of the door, and Sienna could barely hold her little eyes open. She reminds me of a toddler that doesn't want to take a nap and fights sleep so hard.

I came home, and Cam had cooked dinner, took a shower, and shortly after Laney helped me get the puppy in, Cam gave me a kiss and hit the sack. Poor baby has to get up at the crack of dawn.

So it was minimal damage control and more letting everyone know what went down last night.
